The latest batch of maps are being released for the 2007 title Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, yes you read that right. Not only did you have to buy the game you didn't want to get Modern Warfare, you are now still having to buy all the map packs because they would not release them all at the games re-launch.

So if you feel you have not given Activision enough of your money between the yearly iterations of Call of Duty and the ever money hungry monster that is Destiny then go ahead and continue to fund their bottomless pockets.
I will give credit where credit is due, Call of Duty continues to be one of the biggest franchises in gaming to date, so after years of clockwork precise releases the company knows exactly what they are doing.

A new batch of weekly deals are now live on Xbox, these deals are exclusive to Xbox Live Gold subscribers and offer deals on both Xbox One and Xbox 360 games.

The deals went live this morning on Majornelson.com where Larry Hyrb lets us know first what the week ahead deals are going to be. A good mix of deals on newer games with some older games in the mix as well, this looks to be an interesting lineup and more varied than recent weeks.

Today came a surprising and welcome announcement from the halls of Xbox, there will be a new scheme for players to access over 100 titles for a monthly fee. Now this subscription is set to be $9.99 (roughly £7.99) for access to this "new gaming subscription service", head of Xbox, Mr Phil Spencer, announced this today.

The service will give subscribers access to titles from both Xbox One and Xbox 360, with games from publishers such as 2K, 505 Games, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment, Capcom, Codemasters, Deep Silver, Focus Home Interactive, SEGA, SNK CORPORATION, THQ Nordic GmbH, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Microsoft Studios.
There does appear to be a great deal of talented studios on that list, which is hopeful for great games being added to this Xbox feature. A quote from the article on Majornelson.com states the following -
"Some of the fan favorite titles coming to Xbox Game Pass when it launches to the broader Xbox community in late spring include, Halo 5: Guardians, Payday 2, NBA 2K16 and SoulCalibur II."

The Division has been met with mixed opinions since its release, and yet I still find myself returning to the game from time to time. It is an open world of city blocks and exploration, not to forget many bullets flying in impromptu gun battles in the open.
Tomorrow sees the launch of the 3rd expansion to the games campaign, The Last Stand sees players go up against familiar enemies in an unfamiliar territory. New game modes and a new incursion mission await players in this upcoming expansion to the already sizeable game. The best thing is, The Last Stand releases 28th February.
