I feel Activision and Sledgehammer Games are feeling the pressure of returning to the genre that made the series so successful. The original Call of Duty games on PC knocked off the then leaders of war games Medal of Honor off the top spot. Call of Duty then pursued a futuristic direction, but if Battlefield 1 is anything to go by, the market has changed.

So here is the multiplayer reveal for Call of Duty WWII that features all manner of weaponry, vehicles and of course, some bloody trench shovel warfare (it was bows a couple years ago, now is the age of the shovel).

I can't tell you how many years I have been waiting for a Monster Hunter title to come to console. The series has always been a favourite of mine for its co-operative based action, RPG crafting system and challenging quests. And now, Monster Hunter World is coming to consoles, and it looks better than ever.

I will admit that personally I didn’t expect to hear to much if anything about The Crew. From what I understand it wasn't by any means a particularly bad game but it just seemed to me that it wasn't that talked about. Which is why I am surprised that a sequel was greenlit but seemingly I was wrong as was proved during Ubisoft’s  press conference today when a sequel was confirmed for next year.

I, like many, long for new and innovative titles. Especially from studios that are known to usually play it safe and stick with their already previously established franchises. Thankfully, it appears that Ubisoft is willing to take a new gamble as was made clear from Ubisoft’s E3 Press Conference. This new IP “Starlink: Battle For Atlas” Comes straight from Ubisoft Toronto, the studio that brought us Splinter Cell Blacklist and will feature Sci-fi Ship to Ship combat with an extreme emphasis on modular customization.
