NBA 2K is a massive franchise, maybe not as popular here in the UK but overall it is a massive franchise that can cause neglected relationships and massive rivalries. The game is usually well received and with the introduction of the "Story" mode, much like with Fifa, it break up the usual gameplay and allows the players a more personal connection with the game.

The year opens up NBA 2K to player and creates a very strange Sims/GTA aspect to the game where players can wander and area called The Neighbourhood to upgrade/customise their characters. Players can shop at stores for new items (one branded store is Foot Locker) and you can also hit the gym to build your characters performance. Check out the trailer below for more information on this new addition to the game.

Mafia 3 was one of the big featured games advertised at E3 2016 and a strong contender for Grand Theft Auto V single player. In the new game players take on the role of Lincoln Clay, an African-American Vietnam veteran who returns from the war only to find his home city of "New Bordeaux" under the control of the Cosa Nostra. Players have to take over the city territory by territory, relying on friends and contacts to develop their own legitimate business organisation on the streets. Missions can be played out stealthily or guns-blazing, however the player chooses. You can read up the full details here from the E3 announcement.

And then we are given this by 2K, a live action trailer like something out of the actual cinema. Enjoy:

After countless months of rumours, supposed leaks and speculation, 2K asked the users of Twitter to "Kindly" follow their Bioshock account yesterday and today have revealed the Bioshock Collection. Not only will we get remastered versions of all three Bioshock games, but the collection includes all the single player DLC content for every game. It's worth noting that Bioshock 2's multiplayer will not make an appearance, but to be honest, that doesn't seem like a great loss.

I remember playing Mafia 2 on PlayStation2 and instantly loving the setting more than Grand Theft Auto. The classic cars, the archaic language and the characters that made me feel as if I was starring in my own gangster squad film. Enter Mafia 3 which takes a new direction.
