Yes, you read that right. The Halo TV series hasn't yet been changed into some District 10 movie. It is still in active development. After hearing virtually nothing about the Halo Television Series, which was announced back in 2013. The series was being developed with the famous Steven Spielberg and to be shown on Showtime, we finally have news that the TV series is still going ahead, despite the many setbacks it has already faced. Such setbacks include the closure of Xbox Entertainment Studios in 2014, the folks over at AR12Gaming decided to reach out to Microsoft and 343 Industries themselves and ask about the project. The statement provided by the team at AR12Gaming is as follows:
“Progress on the Halo Television Series continues. We want to ensure we’re doing this the right way together with a team of creative partners (Steven Spielberg and Showtime) that can help us build the best Halo series that fans expect and deserve. We have no further details to share at this time.“
