March 28th will see the release of The Ringed City, the second DLC of Dark Souls 3. The launch trailer features stunning new vistas similar to Anor Londo, intimidating enemies and host of new weapons. We even see a ridiculous overpowered dragon. I still need to progress through the first DLC but this one is shaping up to add a good amount of new content.
It still makes me curious what From Software will go into next after they finish with Dark Souls 3.
The final DLC was announced today for FROM Software's powerhouse flagship Dark Souls series. The DLC titled The Ringed City once again leaves us far more perplexed and fuelled with questions rather than answers.
Dark Souls III saw the launch of its first DLC this week. Ashes of Ariandel is the first of two planned DLCs coming out. I am hopeful by 'planned' that they may develop more. Player who already own a season pass will receive both DLCs to no expense. The setting of Ashes of Ariandel will take players to a painted world full of new enemies, weapons and spells. Check out the launch trailer below:
As a kid I always loved Megaman. All I remember is never being able to beat the second level; it was so hard - I liked it. I started a painful quest to play ‘hard’ games from there on: for the SNES I loved Megaman X, I played DOOM on “ultraviolence”, I laughed at how merciless Battletoads and TMNT were and I found a home in intense strategy games. Years later I found Demon Souls and I had my next-gen tastes for an ultra-competitive fantasy brawler, which I died in, a lot. Fast forward several years and we’re now on Dark Souls 3 and FROM SOFTWARE have certainly got hating people down to a tee. In other words I died, a lot.
Oddly enough I had a hatred for the Dark Souls series of games for the longest time – another series I dearly loved: Armoured Core was no longer getting worked on because of this explosively popular franchise. Severe peer pressure finally brought the game into my hands and I felt even worse when I found myself enjoying it far too much. A couple of years without getting to dawn the mask of the father burned bright (I missed Dark Souls 2) and now I can’t beat the appropriately placed monster right at the start of this game.
