If you’re like me, a Mass Effect fan and a EA Access customer, then you were no doubt excited as I was when it was announced that EA Access subscribers would be getting a 10 hour free trial of Mass Effect Andromeda. Not only that, it is available right now prior to the games official launch on the 21st.
FIFA 16 will be out on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on September 22nd but if you want to check out its gameplay before you commit to purchase then you can download its demo now. In the demo you'll be able to play an exhibition match with a choice of the following teams: Chelsea, Man City, Inter Milan, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, River Plate, Seattle Sounders and Paris Saint-Germain. Women's football is a new and long-awaited addition to FIFA this year so in the demo you'll also be able to sample the women's German and USA national teams. In addition to this the FIFA Ultimate Draft, FIFA Trainer and a selection of the new Skill Games are also available in the demo.
Yesterday Ubisoft announced a free Just Dance demo that’s available to play on the Xbox One using the Just Dance Controller app.The app is also free and is available for Apple and Android devices (coming soon to Windows Phone). It allows players to play the game without the use of Kinect or controllers (but if you want you can still select to use the Kinect) and transforms the device into a controller that tracks your move accuracy as well as allowing you to navigate the game’s menu.
For those of you lucky enough to have an Xbox One it appears you've been having your cake and demanding even more cake from Microsoft in the form of demos and trial games from Xbox Live Arcade. It would seem that as you left the world of Xbox 360 behind you also left the chance of trailing a game before buying it and missing the opportunity of downloading a demo to play when you've become bored of the hundreds of games sat upon your bowing shelf.
