For anyone who has yet to play Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: A Telltale Series, you might be surprised to find the depths to some characters that do not get the same representation on the big screen. The game is very unpredictable and will always have you guessing and never exactly sure where the next chapter will take you.
The games 5th and final episode is titled "Don't Stop Believin" and will be available from November 7th (expect a review shortly after that), the final episode will bring the series to an end. Guardians have been a fun filled team of misfits on the big screen for a couple of years now, though their run time in the comic book world has lasted decades longer. It has been fun getting to see different sides to the characters through Telltale games signature gameplay style.
Today marks the end of nearly a year of waiting. Life Is Strange has to be held up as one of the stand out titles of the year, not only a great episodic game but also a master class in story telling. It is hard to believe there is another company beside TellTale Games that can deliver a great narrative in episodic format and yet the team at DontNod Entertainment. We have to admire the great work Square Enix has delivered as well to many developers over the past couple of years as a publisher. Would this game have been able to live up to its potential or even been made if someone else was at the reigns?
DontNod Entertainment have been riding a massive wave of success this year with Life Is Strange, this episodic game has been filled with so much story and emotion that is is difficult to not acknowledge the accomplishment of the game. When episode 1 was released back in January it was gaining great praise from critics world wide for its characterisation and story, October 20th this year might possibly see the release of the 5th and final episode to the journey of Max and Chloe.
