Resident Evil: Revelations is a survival horror game developed by Capcom and was originally released back in 2012 on the Nintendo 3DS. In terms of story, Resident Evil: Revelations sits in between the events of Resident Evil 4 & 5. Resident Evil: Revelations sees the return of series regulars, Chris Redfield & Jill Valentine with players having to stop a Bio-Terror organisation from infecting the Earth’s oceans with a new form of T-Virus.
Before I start this review I would like to note that this version of RE: Revelations is not a port of the 3DS version however it is the same version as RE: Revelations HD that was released in 2013 on the Xbox 360.
The latest batch of maps are being released for the 2007 title Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, yes you read that right. Not only did you have to buy the game you didn't want to get Modern Warfare, you are now still having to buy all the map packs because they would not release them all at the games re-launch.
So if you feel you have not given Activision enough of your money between the yearly iterations of Call of Duty and the ever money hungry monster that is Destiny then go ahead and continue to fund their bottomless pockets. I will give credit where credit is due, Call of Duty continues to be one of the biggest franchises in gaming to date, so after years of clockwork precise releases the company knows exactly what they are doing.
Darksiders 2 was a fairly large game when it was first released back in 2012, that game series is a stylish blend of platform, puzzle and action adventure; Almost like a Zelda game in some qulities. The announcement of a HD remaster of the game was somewhat unexpected as the games publisher THQ went into liquidation a few years ago and the Intellectual Property was rumoured to have never been bought. Luckily the game did get picked up and has received a polish and some tweaks, now at the development helm is Gunfire Games and the publisher is Nordic Games.
