Blizzard has shared today that it is planning on celebrating Overwatch's first anniversary with a double XP weekendthis coming weekend.
From June 8th till June 12th (9th for us in the UK)every activity on Overwatch will award players with double the experience. This also coincides with the Anniversary loot boxes being removed from the ingame store once the event ends, so this is your final chance to unlock those anniversary skins for your favourite hero.
Today Blizzard announced the newest map to its 2016 game Overwatch. The Lunar Horizon Colony is making its way to the game sometime in the near future.
The way Blizzard has announced this has come a very different way to how the company usually announces incoming maps & characters (I'm looking at you Sombra). With Sombra, Blizzard teased players for months with various tid bits of information. Which the company released via a complex meta game as well as various ingame lore.
I'll be honest. I finished with ARK a long time ago. The game was very time dependent and required a dedication of hours. That's not to say I don't like ARK. That game gave me over 100 hours of fun.
What is great to see from the developers is the consistent new content being imported into the game. The latest update adds a wealth of new dinos and a new underwater weapon, the harpoon. Take a look at the trailer below.
If you like your death-match game play with less of a team focus and more out for yourself, I would recommend reading on as this may just be the kind of game for you. The Culling is best described as a Battle Royale/Hunger Games style event, players are in a 16 person death-match and the last one standing wins. To be honest is a such a fairly basic concept that it has spawned millions of Dollars world wide as films.
The Culling has been created by Xaviant Interactive who have found previous success with Lichdom: Battlemage, though The Culling has been been available for PC players since March last year. The Xbox One version will come under "Game Preview" and will allow players to test, play and feedback on the game while its development is underway.
Happy Valentines XBLG readers. Hoping today is spent with your loved one in 2 vs 2 matches or maybe it isn't. Well here's a silver lining, there are plenty of shield-maidens, and warriors, out there. In fact, there is a whole world brought to you by Ubisoft.
For Honor is out today. If you didn't get a chance to play the beta (like me) you may be itching to play, and now you can! There are 12 playable classes available on launch, 4 of which we have known nothing about like the Lawbringer for the Knight faction. For Honor offers a campaign for each faction, which is probably a worthwhile training ground before sinking yourself into the online.
