Halo Wars 2 is the sequel to Halo Wars, and is the second real time strategy game in the Halo franchise. Halo Wars 2 was developed by both 343 Industries and Creative Assembly, published by Microsoft Studios and released on both Xbox One and PC.
Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition released on the 17th February 2017 with the standard edition releasing just a few days later on the 21st February 2017. The game is set in the year 2559, which is 28 years after the events of Halo Wars, and shortly after the events of Halo 5. I will keep this review as spoiler free as possible.

RWBY: Grimm Eclipse is a Hack and Slash style game that released on the Xbox store on Tuesday 17th January for £15.99. Created by Rooster Teeth Games, a game's company created within the larger company named Rooster Teeth, is the first game based on the popular web series animation RWBY.
RWBY was created by Rooster Teeth, who of course being company that made the famous web series Red Vs Blue. The game allows you to play as the main protagonists of the RWBY series, Yang, Blake, Weiss and of course, Ruby. The day after release, on the 18th January, a DLC pack featuring Team JNPR was also released for £3.99. All characters in the game are voiced by their original voice actors from the series, and have all those unique personalities we've grown to know and love.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is a fighting style role playing game (RPG) developed by Dimps and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, based on the famous anime franchise Dragon Ball. The game was released in the EU on October 28th 2016 for Xbox One and Playstation 4, and is the sequel of Dragon Ball Xenoverse.

Pure Chess is a game developed by VooFoo Studios, and published by Ripstone. It originally released April 11th 2012 on the PS3 in Europe, and launched on other platforms since. It has now released on Xbox One and PC as Pure Chess: Grandmaster Edition.

Now I already know what you're thinking. Just how different can you make chess from real life? I mean, it's chess right? There's not really any way you could change the game. If you thought that, you'd be correct, because you can't change the game. However, one thing video game chess does allow is improvement, more so than real life would offer. Pure Chess offers the opportunity to learn how to play the game from beginner to professional, and allows you to play opponents that are better (or worse) than your standard family member that you'd usually force to play a game of chess.

Anima: Gate of Memories is a third person action RPG. This game was created by Anima Project Studio and was originally funded on Kickstarter in 2013. The game features two main playable characters, The Bearer and Ergo Mundus. These two characters are bound by pact due to the bearer awakening Ergo, and so, she is able to share some of his powers.
