With Friday the 13th looming and this being the month of Halloween it only seems right that we get the new instalment of The Evil Within. To celebrate the release coming Friday 13th October, Bethesda Softworks have released the launch trailer for the title.
Friday the 13th: The Game is a third-person survival type game in which one player controls Jason and the remaining seven (or less) players control camp counsellors trying to survive the night. Developed by IllFonic and published by Gun Media, the game promises to be as close to the original as possible, by offering scares and gameplay through original 80s horror methods. The game released on the 26th May 2017 on Steam, Xbox and Playstation.
Outlast 2is a single player experience which follows the found footage style of gameplay from the original. Following the mysterious murder of a young pregnant woman, you play as investigative journalist Blake Langermann and his wife Lynn set out to solve the mystery surrounding this seemingly random murder.
Whilst not a direct sequel toRed Barrelsprevious gameOutlast,Outlast 2is set within the same universe and shares the same survival horror mechanics that madeOutlast(and itsWhistleblowerexpansion) the unique horror games that they became.
Frédérick Raynal, pioneer of survival horror and creator of Alone in the dark now brings us 2Dark, a journey of cunning, stealth and courage. A String of Child abductions is plaguing the once picturesque city of Gloomywood. While the other residence are turning a blind eye to the children's disappearance out of fear, Mr Smith a former detective, who saw his wife murdered and his own children taken, will take it on himself to venture forth to Gloomywood's Bastion of cruelty in an attempt to save the missing children or die trying.
The 10th February will see two new indie additions the the Xbox library. Its always incredible to see what indie developers can bring to the table, for us to play, enjoy and give feedback on there ideas.
