Now for anyone who follows the latest trends of Gaming, you may well of heard of Player Unknown's Battleground for PC. An extremely popular battle royale shooter survival game. Battlegrounds pits up to 100 players on a map with a mixture of open areas, towns and trees. With nothing but the clothes on your back and whatever you can scavenge from the map and air drops, you are tasked to fight your way to be the last man, or woman, standing.

E3 2017 has kicked off with a bang this year for Xbox. Not only have we been promised 42 new titles, but 22 of these are exclusives! 

Rare's newest game, Sea of Thieves is one title we will see early 2018, releasing on both Xbox One and PC. A multiplayer adventure online see's you and a crew, be it friends, or other people online set sail to the open seas to explore islands and ship wreaks for treasure.

Ashen was a wonderful looking game announced previously at E3 2016, this year saw a further look into the games interesting art style and revealed more about the games dark and enigmatic nature. The game appears to be similar to the Souls games that From Software have been crafting and creating for many years now, though this one has a unique art style and apparently a focus on Co-operative gameplay.

Here comes another blow to the line up of Xbox One exclusive titles, Scalebound has been officially cancelled after years already in development. Game developer Platinum Games confirmed by tweet that Microsoft had decided to call it a day on the games development.

It has been a while since we last witnessed an authentic Gears of War experience; the third instalment tied the story off in a nice little bow with a bittersweet ending. Though time can play with imaginations and stories can be furthered, then came along the Xbox One and the opportunity to remove the idea from the imagination and place it into our hands.

The 5 year wait between instalments was well spent in the studios of The Coalition, the team adopted and took on the great undertaking of the franchise. The struggles of taking a veteran IP and flagship title of the Xbox brand and making it more than paying homage and simply being an imitation. The game appears to be deconstructed before being built again from the ground up. The core gameplay, controller mechanics, level design, musical score and co-operative experience feel pure and not just a copy and paste experience.
