Dragon Ball Xenoverse has shipped 1.5 copies to date. That's certainly a hefty number. Bandai Namco confirmed that the latest entry in the franchise has been a popular purchase in the US, Japan, and Europe. Game producer Masayuki Hirano said "[...] I feel honoured to create a game around a license as massive as Dragon Ball! On behalf of Bandai Namco Games: thanks for your amazing support! We will continue working and reaching new heights!"
Additionally, the game's first DLC pack is out this week. This pack features Goku, Trunks, and Pan as they are shown in the series Dragon Ball GT, as well as the Planet Tuffle stage, additional costumes, accessories, and Z-Souls. The game also features Tien Shinhan and Yamcha as new masters along with 15 moves they both can teach, and 7 new Time Patrol and Parallel Quests combined.
