THE CREW Coming To Xbox 360 Too

Today saw the announcement from Ubisoft that THE CREW  will be coming to Xbox 360 consoles when it releases on the 11th November 2014 as well as the Xbox One. This E3 award winner sounds very intriguing and interesting and  the blurb sums up the game well;

 The Crew is a revolutionary action-driving MMO that takes gamers on a wild ride throughout a massive open world recreation of the United States, full with exciting challenges and populated by other real players.

The senior VP of sales and marketing over at Ubisoft, Geoffroy Sardin, explains the companies stance “It’s Ubisoft’s objective to continue to meet the needs of consumers who have not yet made the move to the new console generation. The Crew was originally built for the new generation of consoles, but we have always had a desire to make it accessible to as many people as possible. We’re excited to bring The Crew’s same core features, massive scope, mission variety, and overall driving experience to Xbox 360 players.”

Developing duties have been handed over to Asobo Studio who will be getting help and support from Ivory Tower, Ubisoft Reflections and Ubisoft Shanghai. Asobo Studio have a bit of racing pedigree already having developed FUEL in the past so they should be up to the task. On another note there are plans for a closed beta sometime during late September for Xbox One in which a limited number of players will be invited to take part. More details and exact dates will be made available nearer the time. It does appear you can sign up and register your interest in the Beta HERE.
