Dark Souls 3 – Update

From Software have came an extremely long way with the Souls Franchise since its conception. The franchise consists of Demon Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2 and Bloodborne to date. The strange thing is that 2 of these games are exclusives on the PlayStation platforms, but the multi-platform Dark Souls series is the one that we are privy to on Xbox and love the testing nature of the games.

Today the publishers Bandai Namco Entertainment sent out a press release informing us that the game now has a release date set for April 2016, this is not as absolute as many of the fans would like but it is still over 6 months away and not giving a definite release date allows for delays and the likes.  This does deviate a little from there regular March release window, as both Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin were released in March 2014 and 2015.

Check back to get more information on Dark Souls 3 as it rolls out.
