Farcry 5 got its time in the spotlight during the Ubisoft conference at E3 2017. It gave us a glimpse at how the game would play and feel as well as a look at some of the new characters who you can expect to meet. Farcry is set in Montana this time around in the fictional state of Hope County. This means that Farcry will be very close to home for many fans. They will get there chance to see on 27th February 2018.
We were treated to a small section of the game, sneaking down to deal with some of the cult and save some civilians. A sniper was shown, a dog, a man in a bi-plane as well as co-op play playing a part in the game. After the trailer, we can’t help but feel the game might be taking itself a little less seriously this time around.
The game sees the county having been over run by a fanatical cult and it would seem its the role of the player to liberate the county. It was also hinted that the reason for the location, was due to its very remote feeling, meaning no help was likely to come, no phone signal to call the outside world. Fans of the title will have high expectations to see how the team of Farcry 5 can top the epic adventures of previous titles.
