There is no doubt that Fallout 76 was one of the big stars of E3, despite it having been revealed days before the conference and it’s appearance at both the Microsoft and Bethesda announcements possibly indicates there is some form of arrangement between the two companies. Recently it was revealed that the Bethesda will have a public beta which will only be accessible by those who have reserved the game on the Xbox One before the other platforms.
According to Bethesda, launching the beta on a single platform will allow them to concentrate on improving it for that specific one, before addressing those improvements to others. Although the reason for this initiative could simply be technical I think it is another sign that there is indeed a commercial agreement for the game. A good relationship has always existed between the publisher and Microsoft, which has resulted in marketing agreements before. I think this assures us, that surely the best version of the game will be on Xbox One. A date for the beta has yet to be revealed but taking into account the November release date, it could be during the summer.
Fallout 76 will come to consoles and PC this November.
