Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands was released under the promise of an open world, action adventure where team work was essential. The game could be played as a single player experience, though the AI teammates made the game far too easy. The real experience was in its multiplayer experience, where the carnage and mayhem available were nearly on par with GTA Online.
Today as we approach the games 1 year anniversary, the player count has reached the 10 million player milestone and Ubisoft have announced the plans for the games Year 2 content.
Year 2 will feature 4 major updates called Special Operations, each will be themed around a theme and these updates start on April 10th; so we do not have long to wait at all.
Special Operations 1
Teammate Customisation: The most requested feature by the community, Team Customisation will allow players to customise teammate outfits with all items they have unlocked for their own character
PvP Update: A new game mode called “Sabotage” with five exclusive maps, the first of six new PvP classes for Year 2 and new perk and explosive device
PvE Update: A free, themed PvE mission and special challenge with exclusive rewards.
Get ready for the content to drop on April 10th, we will drop the information on more special operations as and when they are announced. Until then, we hope to see you all in the Wildlands.
