As well as being on offer at a low price of £6.00 on the Microsoft Store this week at 75% off, you can play it right now and through the weekend for free. FREE! Nada! Zilch! Absolutely no pennies involved.

I highly recommend it because having watched a ton of Naruto and Naruto Shippuden back in the day and not having actually finished watching the rest (they’ve also since aired Boruto, a series based on Naruto’s son and which you can also buy the DLC pack for this game to enjoy titled Naruto Storm 4: Road to Boruto – also on offer obviously), it’s fantastic. I never played the previous releases so jumped straight into this one and immediately thought of Power Stone which was on the Sega Dreamcast back in the day.

The combat is fast, fluid with combos and the bigger supermoves easily pulled off by newcomers. The animation and storytelling is just top stuff. You’ll have to work a little harder to gain your S ranks, which really involves completing a battle in the fastest time possible with usually no more than 10% damage acquired but after some perseverance they’re usually quite obtainable as are the achievements associated with gaining these S ranks.

An absolute gem of a game with a 100% completion over some amount of hours completed Naruto’s, Sasuke and let alone everyone else’s stories for me. This was without a doubt, a 5/5.

Can you tell I loved this game? Dattebayo!

You can find the game here to try for free or purchase here.
