Overwatch Free To Play Weekend February 16th – 19th

Yes, you read the title correctly! This weekend, from the 16th to 19th February you can play Blizzards famously addicting Overwatch for free. The event goes live at 7pm (GMT) on Friday, and finishes 8am (GMT) on Tuesday. This free to play event is available not just on Xbox One, but Playstation 4 and PC too. Just make sure you have an active online subscription if you’re a console gamer.

Over this free to play event, the full roster of 26 heroes, and a massive 17 maps will be available to play on across a large range of modes, such as Quick Play, Custom Games and Arcade. You’ll also be able to level up, earn loot boxes and unlock customisation options just as you would if you owned the game. The best news is, if you decide to buy the game after this trail weekend, you keep every bit of progress you’ve made (so long as you use the same account).

If the times have you confused, don’t worry, I’ll leave a nice little graph below so you can figure out when the event starts and ends:

All other information regarding the event can be found on the official Overwatch page.

Are you a fan of cosplay and fan art too? If the answer is yes, you can head over to The Worlds First Poncho Chief for additional Halo related goodness. If you’re interested in owning some cool and exclusive Halo swag, don’t forget to order your Halo Legendary Crate from Loot Crate and use the code XBLG for an extra percentage off the final price.
