Last week saw number of releases to Xbox, i covered a few of the smaller titles, but there were many more. In this article I plan to cover any of the titles you may have missed and provide handy links to any titles covered wither here or direct you to a source where you can find out more. So without further ado, let us get into it.
Halo Wars 2 – released 21st February
Arguably the biggest title on this list. Halo Wars 2 is a Real-time strategy game, returning us back to the brutal wars between the crew of the Spirit of Fire and the Banished. You take command of Spartans, warthogs and other iconic fighting forces in your attempts to defeat the enemy forces. You can find fellow XBLG writer, Jordan Wharton‘s review here on the title.
Vaccine released 21st February
In Vaccine, your friend has been infected by a mysterious virus and you must find the vaccine to save him before its to late. You play as one of two members of a bio-hazard rapid response team in this survival horror, each with there own unique abilities. Each building you enter is randomly generated to offer a challenge each tome you hunt for the next hit your friend needs to keep him alive. Zombie Vikings released 22nd February
Odin’s eye has been stolen by the trickster Loki, you are a recently revived Zombie tasked with reclaiming the magical eye. Embark on an epic quest in the land of Norse Mythology, a weird and wacky place as one of 4 playable characters, each with there own abilities and the greatest power of all? Working with your friends to become the most powerful Zombie ever, by literally stitching yourselves together. Shift Happens released 22nd February
Bismo and Plom, brought together due to a freak accident are now able to merge together, shift there mass and lift and thrown one another. In this Puzzle, platforming epic, you and a friend must navigate your way through over 40 levels separated into 4 very different worlds. Trulon: The Shadow Engine released 24th February
A card based RPG adventure, set in the steampunk world of Tripudia and based on the new novel by Jak Kote. A world being ravaged by a disease, you take on the role of Gladia, a monster huntress who must embark on a quest to uncover the the cure for the disease. Warhammer Quest released 24th February
Another big title swinging onto Xbox. Warhammer quests is based on the classic table top game. It mixes role-play with strategy. Traverse perilous dungeons in search of wealth and glory. Level up your heroes and kit them out with a huge array for weapons, armour and artefacts scavenged from your fallen enemies. Purchase the epic adventure here on the Microsoft website.
A Pixel Story released 24th February
Inside your computer, exists a strange world of magical teleporting hats, sarcastic software, manic operators and thieving seagulls. An hero must step forward to face devious traps, clever puzzles and a tongue in cheek story to save the system. Its not a fairy tail… it’s a pixel story. Forma.8 released 24th February
Forma.8 is a unique take on the proven Metroidvania action-adventure formula, with a striking visual style and a huge world to explore. Chime Sharp released 24th February
Place pieces, paint the board, make music. Chime Sharp is an sequel to 2009’s Chime, a music puzzle game with an addictive, ambient heartbeat. We are the Dwarves released 24th February
We are the Dwarves is a fantasy role-playing game with a strong story and tactically challenging real-time battles. 15 playable heroes, each with individual skills, are to be deployed cleverly. Riptide GP: Renegade released 24th February
