The Surge 2 is the latest game from developers Deck 13, their previous works include Lords Of The Fallen and The Surge. A new gameplay reveal shown on IGN’s YouTube channel shows that The Surge 2 maintains the line of it’s antecedent. It is clear that elements have been improved, from combat system and their animations, which seems to be more agile than the delivery in the original title.
This video is pre-alpha material, so it helps to get an idea of how the game is currently working.
In the video, you can see a wooded environment quite different from the original factory halls. Elements like the HUD, in addition, have moved to the bottom of the screen, together it seems to be a more dynamic game, both in the movement of the protagonist and the enemies.
The Surge 2 is currently under development and is not expected to reach Xbox One until next year, with a date yet to be determined. I must remind you that the first instalment was even adapted to Xbox One X, after the release of the title, providing two modes of rendering to choose by the user between 1080p and 60 frames per second or 1800p resolution and 30 frames per second, so if you have left wanting more you can get with him at a price quite tempting.
