Tom Clancy’s The Division – 08/03/16
You’ll have seen all the adverts on TV and various websites for the next big Tom Clancy game from Ubisoft. The game has finally arrived and you’ll only have a day to wait if you missed out on the chance to play the beta a couple of weekends ago.
If you can’t wait until tomorrow for the next installement then you can play a mini mobile game that Ubisfot have released to see how long it would take you to infect the world based on some simple decisions: http://collapse-thedivisiongame.ubi.com/en/. If it were me, I would have caused the death of 464,793,907 in the space of 23 days! Let us know in the comments how you get on.
In case you haven’t seen the trailer yet, although I’m not sure how that’d be possible, you can check it out below.
Casey Powell Lacrosse 16 – 09/03/16
I know very little about Lacrosse and I also know very little about this game unfortuantely. What I can tell you though that this is the third lacrosse game from Big Ant Studios after a succesful kickstarter campaign back in 2014 to make Lacrosse 14.
Casey Powell however is a newcomer for this game and is the most recognised player in the sport. Powell is the four-time-All-American from Syracuse, two time MLL Offensive Player, and NLL Most Valuable Player of the year and is one of the most dominant and recognised players in the world. So now you know a little bit about Powell and why he’s on the cover.
If you’re a lacrosse fun you might enjoy the below trailer, if you’re not you should have a cheeky wee watch as you might end up liking it.
Teslagrad – 09/03/16
Next up we have Teslagrad, a 2-D, side-scrolling, puzzle-platform video game, developed and published by Rain Games.
The game has been around for a while, being released on various platforms since 2013, but it has finally made its way onto the Xbox One console so everyone can have a go now.
Teslagrad is set in a steampunk inspired version of old Europe, in a non-linear world with more than a hundred hand drawn environments. After seeing some of them they are definitely something to behold.
Check out the trailer below.
Hitman – 11/03/16
Another big release this week that you will have no doubt heard mutterings of, is non other than the return of Agent 47 in the latest Hitman game.
The game will take place after the events of Absolution, so if, like me, you still have Absolution sitting in your pile of shame, now would probably be a good time to blow the dust off the cover and get cracking on. If you have the intention of buying it, of course.
Another piece of info you might like to know is that this game will be released in an episodic format, which seems to be the way things might be going now.
As always, you can find the trailer below.
Blast ‘Em Bunnies – 11/03/16
This game already has an article dedicated all to itself, with a trailer as well as some pictures. You can feast yer eyes on the news article here.
Cel Damage HD – 11/03/16
The final release for this week is Cel Damage HD, an HD remake of the original Xbox and PS2 title .
You get to control one of six characters each with their own choice of over the top cars and smash, shoot and slice your enemies into oblivion to gain fame on the most popular cartoon demolition derby show on TV.
It’s giving people a chance to try an old school classic (can’t believe a title that’s not that old could be classed as old school now!) or give people the chance to try out for the first time.
There doesn’t seem to be an Xbox One trailer as yet so you’ll need to keep your eyes peeled for that.
