Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is releasing on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Oct. 18, 2018
Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is a boss battler from publisher AnotherIndie and senior AAA veterans developer Dark Star Game Studios. Discord users also get to brave the dangers when Sinner debuts on Windows and Mac as a First on Discord launch title later this year, with a Steam release to follow.
The team consisting of a Ubisoft art director, Konami senior programmer and a Blizzard technical artist, Sinner follows Adam, a soldier with a dark and haunting past.
‘Adam must embark on a journey for absolution, facing off against monstrous beasts to reconcile his heinous crimes.
Based on the seven deadly sins, these savage spectres will reveal their personal connections with Adam as he advances his quest for atonement to
a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack.’
Before dueling each monstrosity, Adam sacrifices a part of himself and must accept a permanent debuff. Battles become increasingly more difficult with each sacrifice as Adam’s vitality is reduced, his arsenal breaks down and armor begins to wither away. Alternate gear can be
unlocked in a New Game+ mode, adding further replayability to Adam’s journey for redemption.
