Space Hulk: Tactics – Out Now

Once again fans of the Warhammer 40k universe can engage in bloody tactical battles, this time aboard a Space Hulk – a gigantic amalgamation of abandoned and derelict star-ships left to float in space.

Choose Your Side
Based on a classic 40k board game, you can take command of a squad of the Emperor’s finest Space Marine Terminators as usual. For the first time in a Space Hulk game you can also choose to command the Tyranid side in the form of the stealthy but savage Genestealers!
Whether you go for the technological might of the Terminators in their power armour with advanced weaponry, or the strength in numbers of a swarm of blood thirsty Genestealers you will have to plan your moves out very carefully to become victorious.

Space Hulk: Tactics, as the name suggests is turn-based strategy game which requires careful planning and making good use of your squad’s abilities. To help with this you can switch between first person and top down views, these views help command the battlefield from all  the possible angles.
There are different unit types for both sides, all are fully customisable with hundreds of cosmetic items, equipment and cards. The card system in this game aims to enhance the gameplay itself, as well as make sure that no two battles are ever the same.

Whilst playing the Campaign as Space Marines you only have the option of using the Blood Angels due to lore implications. However when you spool up multiplayer, which can be vs. AI or PVP, you can choose from some other classic factions: Dark Angels, Ultramarines and Space Wolves.
A map editor has also been included as a feature within the game, so you will be able to re-enact famous battles with your favourite chapter or create new arenas of pain for other online players to enjoy!

Space Hulk: Tactics is available now on the Microsoft Store!

I'm a bearded guy in his 30's who still loves to game as much as I did when I was a kid. In fact I'm pretty much still a kid! Love to play driving sims, shooters, puzzle, strategy and survival games the most. Also cant resist a really good RPG here and there.
