The sequel has arrived, State of Decay 2 is now available to purchase on Xbox One and Windows 10. The console exclusive by Undead Labs is also available on Xbox Game Pass, so if you are an adopter of the monthly subscription you should head over and take advantage.
The survival game is a mixture of exploration, resource management, zombie killing and a lot of other things. One of the major additions to State of Decay 2 is the the addition of Multiplayer, the simple ability to jump online with friends and survive the Apocalypse is a much more appealing factor.
When playing State of Decay 2, the threat of death is real for your in game characters, if they die then you can say goodbye to them for good. Perma-death is real in this game and you want to be careful about who you take out on particular runs as the game will threaten your party every time you step out your base.
There have been some amusing videos online already about this game, due to the lack of dedicated servers. The person hosting the session better have a good and stable internet connection, other wise glitches in game could make for a very amusing session.
We at XBLG are looking forward to getting a group game night with this title on the cards. We love multiplayer games as it is the heart of our community, we just hope that no Zombies are coming to rip out and devour that heart from us.
