Xbox Game Pass Titles for December

Hey gaming fans! With the winter holidays creeping in here’s the latest games to be added to the Xbox Game Pass for December, and they are sure to be a blast whether you will be playing solo or with family and friends.

The Gardens Between – November 29
Kick back and relax with Arina and Frendt – these best friends explore a wonderful surreal world that they fell into. This vibrant and almost dream-like world made up of 20 beautiful garden islands is littered with items from the friends’ childhood. These items are made into puzzles which help to explore the deep friendship between Arina and Frendt. Exploration, friendship and time manipulation are all required to solve the puzzles and move on through the islands. With a chilled-out soundtrack, simple controls and no text, speech or time pressure, this is a delightful single player puzzle adventure game to relax and unwind with.

Mutant Year Zero – December 4th
Have you ever wondered what the fallout of World War 3 would be? Well, Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden explores that possibility after the world ends due to nuclear war and all of humanity is wiped off the face of the Earth. This tactical turn-based shooter is set to be an absolute blast, combining XCOM style gameplay with an imaginative storyline and great characters like Dux – a crossbow-wielding, walking, talking duck.

You take command of a team of mutant animals to battle through the crumbling, post-apocalyptic slew of overgrown forests and ruined cities, hoping to find sanctuary at the legendary Eden. Along the way you will encounter plenty of opposition from the local monsters, meaning you will have many opportunities to explore the stealthy and rewarding turn-based gameplay.

Strange Brigade – December 6th
Join in the hunt for Seteki – an ancient Egyptian witch Queen who has risen from the dead after 4,000 years of being entombed. You play the part as one of four intrepid agents trained in hunting and eradicating evil supernatural beings, together you are the Strange Brigade! Set in the 1300’s you will explore remarkable ruins, solve perilous puzzles and uncover tantalising treasure while blasting your way through an array of undead enemies in thrilling third-person action that’s certain to bring out your inner adventurer!

With pyramids, puzzles, pits and peril around every corner you would be wise to team-up and play co-op, or you can be brave and go it alone to fend off Seketi and her hoards of beasts and monsters. If the main campaign ever gets boring or you fancy something different there are other game modes to enjoy too – Score attack and Horde mode, both for 1-4 players.

So round up some good snacks and some friends or family and get settled in for another cracker of a month of gaming with Xbox Game Pass. And if you are busy and stuck at work or away from home you can now download the Xbox Game Pass app for iOS and Andriod. This will allow you to install all your favourite game pass titles to your Xbox so they are ready to play when you get home. How great is that?!

Enjoy your new titles and have a blast wherever you are this holiday period 🙂

I'm a bearded guy in his 30's who still loves to game as much as I did when I was a kid. In fact I'm pretty much still a kid! Love to play driving sims, shooters, puzzle, strategy and survival games the most. Also cant resist a really good RPG here and there.
